NEW CHIEF EXECUTIVE AT SALVATION ARMY HOUSING ASSOCIATION (SAHA)

We are excited to announce that Lynne Shea has been appointed the new Chief Executive of The Salvation Army Housing Association (Saha).
Stephen Stringer, Chair of Saha said “I am extremely pleased to confirm the appointment of Lynne Shea as the new permanent CEO of Saha. She has shown great leadership during her time as Interim Chief Executive, and following a highly competitive recruitment process, I and the Board are very confident that she is the right person to lead our organisation. We are excited about the future and this is a big step forward on our journey to grow and improve service delivery.”
Salvation Army Chief Secretary Colonel Paul Main said: “We are grateful to Lynne for all she has accomplished as Interim CEO and are delighted that she was successful in her application for the permanent role. We look forward to supporting her and continuing our close working relationship with Saha as they focus on transforming the lives of their residents.”
Lynne brings with her a wealth of experience, having worked in the private sector for many years and in senior positions within the social housing sector. She joined Saha in January 2022 as Executive Director of Corporate Services and took on the interim role of Chief Executive Officer in April 2022..
Lynne will start her role, with immediate effect.
Lynne is passionate about Saha and openly admits that the work we do “has got under her skin”. She is a great Ambassador for our values, Christian ethos and has a clear vision for how the organisation will prosper, working in greater partnership with our parent, The Salvation Army.

Lynne is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, having held senior positions in the housing sector for several years before moving to Saha, including Director of Finance & Resources and Company Secretary with Gateway Housing.
