Transforming lives – what does this mean?

At saha our mission is about meeting the ‘whole’ needs of individuals – physical, mental, moral and spiritual. We adopt an advantaged thinking approach that focuses on people’s strengths, talents and future potential rather than on past problems. We believe this approach helps to differentiate us from others.

Our mission is summarised in our strapline – “Transforming lives

As we start the work to identify our priorities for the next three to five years, our Board wants to develop a better understanding of what transforming lives actually means to our different residents. This will, no doubt, mean different things to different people – providing a home, help with training, finding a job, dealing with health issues – the list goes on.

We’d like to hear about what transforming lives means to you and how you think we could measure it. The R2R residents’ panel will be looking into this as one of their areas of scrutiny. Over the next couple of months R2R members will be visiting a number of schemes and estates to talk to residents about this. You can drop them an email about what you think transforming lives means at r2r@saha.org.uk or you can ring our Customer Service’s Centre on 0800 970 6363 to let us know what you think.

As a thank you, we’ll be awarding a £50 voucher for the best feedback, as judged by R2R.

We’d like to hear from you by 12th June at the latest.
