William Booth Opens it’s doors

A resident at a Hull hostel has revealed what life is really like inside – and why people’s perceptions of its residents are far from reality.

Doors were thrown open for The Salvation Army’s William Booth House’s annual open day on Thursday, June 20 and members of the public, services and businesses from Hull were invited in to take a look around and meet residents.

“To me, William Booth means safety, security and a place you can call home. There’s support for everyone no matter what”.
