Jennifer Laurent-Smart

Board member

Jennifer has been working as an equality and diversity practitioner for over 15 years and has experience of working in both the private and public sector. She has experience of working strategically with senior management teams, providing support, advice and guidance in relation to equality and diversity and has a sound understanding of equality legislation and the principles of equality & diversity and inclusion. She has experience of main-streaming equality and building capacity within organisations to improve their equality practice.

Her previous roles have included: Equality and Diversity Manager for DWP (Jobcentre plus), London Race and Diversity Strategy Manager for the National Police Development Authority (formally Centrex), Specialist Diversity Advisor for the Metropolitan Police, and Senior Equality Practitioner for Brent Council.

Jennifer joined the saha Board in May 2014.

Maggie Cameron-Ratchford

Board Member

Maggie worked for a local council in the east end of London for over 20 years, mainly managing housing services - homelessness, housing advice, management of council housing and managing large projects. She joined the saha Board in 2011.

Anne McLoughlin

Interim Executive Director of Operations

With 30 years’ social housing experience Anne was previously Operations Director with a national specialist housing provider where she helped it to grow to the largest rural housing provider in the UK with a reputation for high quality energy efficient homes and services.

Andrew Lawrence

Andrew Lawrence is a Chartered Accountant and combines work as Chairman of the Board of Bron Afon Community Housing with a wide portfolio of non-executive director roles within the charity and public sectors and in insurance and social housing. Andrew has a special interest in corporate governance, strategic leadership, risk management, cultural change and innovation.

Andrew is part of a large church in South Wales and serves as a Street Pastor on the streets of Cardiff. He joined the saha Board in April 2019.
