Ola Balogun MSc MBCS

Head of ICT

Ola’s role is to ensure the provision of Information Communications and Technology appropriate to the evolving needs of Saha and to develop and lead the ICT service in delivering effective, efficient and quality ICT that is aligned to the Association’s business objectives.

Ola studied Civil Engineering at University and developed a keen interest in ICT, having undertaken dissertations involving a great deal of computer programming. After working for a small private firm for a few years in an IT function, Ola joined Saha in 1996 as an IT Assistant. Over the years, he worked his way through various IT positions to his current role as Head of ICT.

Ola gets a buzz from the constant state of evolution of ICT, and thrives in playing a lead role in harnessing ICT through the delivery of ICT projects as a key enabler in ensuring the Association delivers its mission of ‘Transforming Lives’.

Outside of work, Ola is an active member of his local evangelical church, involved in choir singing, occasionally playing the cello in church services, community outreach, and in sharing the Christian faith. He also enjoys reading, playing table tennis and walking.

What Saha means to me:

“I find Saha a great place to work and am often excited in experiencing the various transitions the organisation has gone through over the years. I would describe Saha as a learning and dynamic organisation that is always aiming for excellence. Being a Christian, I intrinsically embrace the values of Saha, and enjoy being part of a great, friendly workforce committed to making a difference in people’s lives.”
